#MFW #BEDADA - THE NEW SPRING/SUMMER 2019 COLLECTION

Dear fashionistas, in the upcoming season, we will leave the AIGNER WUNDERKAMMER and enter a new artistic period of the past century: Dadaism.

Last Friday in Milan, AIGNER presented the new Spring/Summer 2019 Collection with a rebellious stance against the ordinary and struck a chord with our time yet again. I am probably not only speaking for myself when I say that the desire for something new sleeps in all of us. Everybody can do mainstream, which is why it is all the more boring by now. With this collection, Creative Director Christian Alexander Beck masterfully succeeded in breaking free from the ordinary. With DADA, AIGNER takes a big step out of the circle of expectations and still artfully maintains the unmistakable classic style. Clean designs paired with flashy patterns and unexpected details like trompe-l’oeil prints characterize the collection, as well as a mix of sporty Eighties/Nineties chic.

Complementary colors and cool accessories lend a new dimension to the collection. Aside from Cyan Blue and Sage Green, Lemon Yellow and Signal Red also set the tone for the upcoming season. Other highlights for me are Nougat and Cloud White! It has been such a long time since we saw white handbags - I love them!!

Aside from the Belt Bags, I also fancied the Wrist and Ankle Bags. They are as far away from the mainstream as the new Kaia Bag, which has big it-bag potential. The Cibyll Bag will also be available again in three special versions. You absolutely need to take a look at the chessboard model. Incredibly beautiful!

I already know that next season, I will not be able to get through the springtime without the new Kira Bag (in the saddle bag format). It is already at the top of my wish list.

Until then, BE DADA!!! Yours, Kate
