Luxury, trend and fashion zeitgeist – more than 50 years later AIGNER still represents craftsmanship, highest quality and timeless design. Over the years, the brand has evolved into a modern luxury brand that has its fans in the most diverse groups and has created an icon with the “Cybill“ bag.

Every season AIGNER surprises with a resounding campaign: the face of the new autumn/winter 2022 collection „Progress“ is Kate Moss. She is a symbol of freedom, self-determination and strength - an icon who shapes the fashion world with her effortless-looking looks. So she is a perfect match for the “Progress“ collection, which stands for further development, dynamism and progress and plays with new, creative approaches without losing sight of its own style.

AIGNER‘s core competence lies in leather bags and accessories. Every season, the team around creative director Christian Alexander Beck creates bags that are aimed at trendsetters, but also have what it takes to become classics. In keeping with this, the product range extends to watches & jewelry, eyewear, shoes, womenswear & menswear and children‘s clothing - these areas have been outsourced to licensing partners.

In 2009, the step to Milan Fashion Week was taken. Since then, the label has been presenting its latest creations from the fashion & leather sector, showing inspirations for the coming seasons in elaborate looks and exclusive bag models.
AIGNER‘s gaze is directed towards the future, yet the label is proud of its history. When Hungarian-born Etienne Aigner celebrated his first successes as a bag designer at the Paris Haute Couture shows in the 1930s, no one had any idea that he was laying the foundation for one of today‘s best-known German luxury and lifestyle brands. This was the beginning of a success story: the presentation of his own collection in New York in the 1950s. For the first time, the typical “A“ in the shape of a horseshoe was used - and from there it went on to Munich. Here Etienne Aigner met Heiner H. Rankl, a businessman with an unerring sense of the future as well as a sense of tradition. And so it was that the cult brand AIGNER was born in Munich in 1965. Since then, the commitment to luxury, the love of the product and, of course, the world-famous horseshoe logo have remained. To this day, the brand‘s path is characterized by flexibility and constant development of the DNA in combination with the fashion zeitgeist. Thus, the label remains true to its values and principles and creates timeless products, but at the same time builds on innovation and sets trends as through the signature bag “Cybill“. This bag is probably the most impressive and convincing example of the clear, elegant AIGNER design language.
AIGNER presents itself worldwide in 80 monobrand stores and at 250 points of sale. The heritage of Etienne Aigner - in the hands of board member Sibylle Schön since 2008 - is now a global luxury brand represented in 20 countries from Europe to Asia and the Middle East.
